Neutrodine® Filtration Technology by Erlab®
The Green Solution Hood is capable of filtering 98% or more of the chemicals commonly used in 99.9% of laboratories. Most of the remaining 2% of chemicals are either non-toxic or they are chemicals used in less than 0.1% of laboratories.
The Green Solution Hood, a ductless fume hood, is significantly more effective than traditional ductless hoods because of the Neutrodine® filtration system by Erlab®. The Neutrodine® Filtration system is superior in capability and safety to all other ductless fume hoods on the market today.
Dual “Revolving Filter” System
The Green Solution Hood filter system includes two identical filters, stacked with an open space between them that contains a molecular detection sensor. When the main filter reaches saturation, any escaping molecules are detected by the sensor and adsorbed by the second identical filter.
When the main filter is saturated, the back up filter is moved to take its place. The main filter is collected and incinerated, and a brand new filter is installed above it as the new backup filter.
The Neutrodine® Filtration System is capable of a much broader spectrum of protection than traditional ductless fume hoods containing carbon based filters. The Green Solution Hood handles liquids, solids, acids, bases and solvents individually or together under the same hood. The use of powders is also covered with the addition of an optional HEPA module.
