SOLUTION WORK STATION – A FUME HOOD
WITH 360 DEGREE VIEWING AREA
Air Master Systems re-vamps student work station with improvements to depth, viewing area, placement and configuration options.
Muskegon, Michigan. September 2010 – Air Master Systems Corporation is breaking fume hood barriers yet again with the introduction of the Solution Work Station, a glass backed, baffle-free, 30” deep work station and fume hood. The Solution Work Station replaces the company’s very popular Student Work Station.
Through common sense, advanced engineering and pure practicality the Solution Work Station is a bright solution in an otherwise dim situation. In laboratories or classrooms with fume hoods, lighting is often a concern. The Solution Work Station offers a view through all four sides making it ideal for undergraduate and high school science rooms. The station has little impact to ambient light, which allows for placement anywhere in the room and good viewing from any seat.
When multiple fume hoods are needed, it offers the flexibility of back-to-back and side-by-side positioning. The sash is Air Master Systems’ patented constant force sash counterbalance, which requires no counter weights. This increases the glass on the hood’s sides, enlarging the viewable area.
Historically, a glass backed fume hood without a baffle would require an increase in depth dimension. But the glass backed Solution Work Station with full 360 degree viewing is still only 30” deep which is ideal for renovation
“Keeping the footprint of the Solution Work Station small and manageable was the basis of design for this fume hood,” said Darryl Coenen
Other features of the Solution Work Station include:
- Powder coat finish
- Full frame construction
- U.L. listed poly resin liner
- Flush-mount airfoil
- Interior access to light
- Full-length finger lift
- Louvered front for by-pass
- 10” round S/S duct collar
- Front mount plumbing fixtures
